You will keep a portfolio of work that you will draw from. There will be many opportunities to add to this portfolio throughout the year. Your final submission will consist of two pieces.
Viewing
In addition to viewing films as part of your genre study, we will also complete a dedicated film study. This will be externally assessed. Click on the title above for more information. The film will draw on many of the themes we have explored in our written texts.
Speaking
No matter what you end up doing for a career, oral language skills will form an important part of your future. The ability to select, organise and deliver ideas in an interesting and engaging way a vital skill. This skill will be assessed early on in the year, so that you have the opportunity to pick up these important credits.
